When a seller says "Reconditioned blade" what does that mean?
Does it mean just polished and sanded? I suppose it would be hard to tell.

Who knows, could be anything from a regrind, wire brushed to hand sanded and polished.

Buyer beware
Sometimes it means that the temper of the edge has been reconditioned from hard to soft by overly aggressive use of power tools. Sometimes it means that it has been well-restored.
You would be placing a lot of trust in the seller. A few sellers deserve that. Many do not, especially on eBay.

Whenever someone says something, anything, anywhere - that is not understood, always best to ask the person who said it what they are referring to.
Asking other people what it MIGHT mean, is inviting confusion to enter the equation. People love to suppose, or guess. There really is no point to that, just go to the source.
