I'm going to 3rd the nancy boy recommendation. Sign up to get their emails for an additional discount, 10 or 15 percent...I can't remember. Their splash is nice altho I prefer Speick (which is another great cream)....I've got their beard balm too. Great all around performance and scent.
Jack Black Supreme Cream ----- under-rated, and not mentioned too often on our forums. It is a magnificent

Lavanda is a very nice cream and quite cheap. Scent is also much better than your typical lavender scented products. CF is nice too, but a little steep.
Haven't tried Mogno yet, but I think that'll be another nice, inexpensive cream.

I use a butter knife to take out an almond size amount and spread it on a damp boar brush.I add drops of water as necessary to make the lather in a Suribachi bowl.
