What's new

Real Shaving Co.

Oh my gosh!!! Where have you been all my life!

I was skeptical, mainly due to the price ($5 at Rite Aid), but Mantic59 has never given bad advice, so I got some today. Wow, I was so surprised. This stuff lathers really well with even a cheap Tweezerman badger brush. I Added some Van Der Haven delux soap, and it was probably one of the best lathers I have ever had. The shave was amazing.
The sent is almost nonexistent so it doesn't overwhelm you when you mix it with other stuff.

If anybody is looking to get an amazing shaving cream this is the stuff.

The new online shop is good (prices and selection are great), but lacks some details.....Free Shipping over $25. Also, go to their facebook page and look at the September 13 post for a 25% off code that is still good.

Wow, thanks for the link. I've used RSC before and it's quite nice for the price.

There were a few things on the site that I've not seen before like the mentholated cream. It looks like they are changing formula of their original stuff, too, to not include parabens or SLS- at least with their "evolution" line.

I have become a fan of their SC. It is good stuff. I am even a bigger fan of the Hot Towel Treatment. I never used to be able to get a good shave in the evening until I started using it.

Fantastic stuff! I just discovered this recently myself. I just used their site to buy their moisturizer and after shave balm, and I really like both of these products too.

I'll have to chime in and agree...I use this with many of my soaps for superlather regularly. My wife bought me two tubes for Christmas, so now I'm stocked for a long time.

Use code PM101 for 25% off (found it on facebook).

FYI, someone around here tracked down the fact that RSC is made by Creighteon's... the same folks that make T&H creams.

For those who don't hoard or are zillionaires and buy creams regardless of cost, the stuff is amazing. The cost makes it the best value is wetshaving bar none.

I never really loved the scent, but the performance is amazing. If they made it in a traditional scent, like almond, coconut, or lime, it would be the greatest cream ever. I have a feeling Trumper, Taylor, and T&H won't allow that to happen (they make cream for all those companies, with the exception of T&H Ultimate comfort, which is made in the US and/or Canada).

The scent doesn't bother me at all, it's just a very light soapy kinda scent. Nothing special, but it isn't bad by any means. I use it to make superlather often. Mixes well with the sandalwoods and heavier scents.

Excellent stuff! I found this at Rite Aid along with my first pack of DE blades before I joined B&B, ya know back when I bought that old gillette at a yard sale to save money:lol:.

While the smell is nothing great its not bad, a little earthy at first and lathers to more of a tea tree scent, but it washes off clean and doesn't linger. It has a great price point combined excellent lathering properties with & without a brush.

Considering that this can be bought brick & mortar by almost anyone, at least here in the US, this may be the #1 wet shave product on store shelves.

I do the same thing with VDH. Soap up my brush then I make a hole with my finger and shoot a little RSC moisture into the middle of the brush.

Face lather from there and I have cheap, fantastic lather in no time.

There was another thread recently that said that it is now also sold at some Bed, Bath and Beyond and also The Christmas Tree Shop.

Like many of you I picked up some at Rite Aid when I went to pick up some cold medicine and my AD forced me to check out the shaving stuff. I was so surprised! A great product. If I could only work with stuff from Rite Aid that and VDH would leave me quite happy!
