Razors from the "Titanic"?

A "Titanic Artifacts" exhibition is currently running in New York. Has anyone seen it, and are there any razors on display? Seems to me that any number of these should have gone down with the ship in 1912, and should have survived under water. I wonder how much a Gillette Double Ring would fetch on ebay if it had been recovered from the wreck? At least 300 bucks, no?

I think it despends if you are collecting or using...

Not sure if there are razors, but I'd imagine there are. My mother in law went to the exhibit and mentioned there were some Truefitt & Hill products there. I think the pomade.

I do not recall if there are any razors or not. But they do have a intact dinner reciept, so if paper can survive I am sure a razor could. I saw the original display in Memphis 15 or so years ago. I can say this if you have the opportunity to go see the Titanic exhibit, it is well worth it.

I also have ate Dinner at the White Star Line ticket office wher the last passengers got on the Titanic, they have a nice display there as well.

I toured the exhibit in the Luxor last fall and there was one razor and several shaving brushes on display. The razor was labeled as being a Gillette; however it appeared to be a single edge rather than a DE. I don't know if Gillette made any like that or not.

I think one of them somehow ended up in Argentina. If I am not mistaken, a member of B&B ended up purchasing it.

I visited the Titanic artifacts museum as it came through the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History. They did not have any razors there, but there was a Gillette Blue razor wrapper. Great condition, considering what it went through...

The exhibit was here in Milwaukee once, but I didn't notice any razors. There were lots of other cool things though.
