Got a SLAB after the head of my Merkur 34c HD broke. I must say, results are extremely positive so far. It might be a shade more aggressive than the HD, but I didn't feel its bite. Paired with a Shark SS blade, I got a slightly closer shave than I had with the HD, BBS everywhere except one spot on my neck that I can never get. Shave seemed to last longer too.

For those who are contemplating it, I heartily recommend it.

I have a number of name-brand, costlier razors in my stable, and my SLAB is firmly ahead of the pack. Audible, efficient, seems to work with every blade I equip it with.

The head is a bit too aggressive for me, but I don't regret the purchase at all since the 316L marine grade stainless steel bulldog handle is wonderful.

Beautiful combo. I have heard that the stud on this head is longer than others. Any trouble matching up the handle?

We sell the Cadet in the UK under the name of "Pearl"
I bought one a few months ago and have never used it. I also have recently received a Razorock Slab handle from Italian Barber in Canada. Just tried the head on the handle and it looks great! I'm going to shave with it this morning. If it shaves like you said, that is a bargain!

The product description on the site just says that it fits "many vintage heads", or something to that effect. Anyone know if it will fit a NEW head?
