Razor Pit

This one is probably way out in left field, but has anybody seen this product and perhaps tried using one for a touch-up on a straight?

Funny. - I was talking to someone that owns a soap/gift shop today. They sell some shave gear, shave soaps, etc - and he asked me if I knew anything about it.
I don't, but I think it's bogus.

I don't know anything about them either, but I noticed, today, that Shaving.ie is selling them, so that made me curious.

I don't know anything about them either, but for my wife's leg and armpit razor I just strop it on my forearm and a cartridge will last her well over a month.

Looks reasonable to me. Like a one-sided/one directional strop.

The big question is... can you use one of these on a straight? If so, what are they made of, etc...?

I think the guy in the shop said he thought it was rubber.
But Im not sure he didn't mean 'rubber' like rubbing the cart/razor on it.

Looks like a little bed for carts! You could put your straights to bed and tuck them in. If they are naughty and cut you they'll have to go to bed without a good stropping.
