What's new

Razor photos lots of razors(many Pumas) as requested

Here are photos of some more razors,I am thinking of moving,so am opening up some long closed boxes to consolidate them and this is what I am finding.I dont know how many razors were in this box,but looks like a couple hundred,There are quite a few Pumas maybe 15 1938's,and a few Inoxes 6/8 and a couple of 7/8, there are some big double duck 7/8 6/8 and lots of Bokers, and Henckels most are new,or as new,but do not have thie individual cardboard boxes,so they go in the catch all box, ther are 5 seven day sets, and a lot of razor kit (new blades and scales packaged together but never assembeled. These are just the a few of the ones I have at the house ,there are lots more in my storage, and at the shop in Florida.I think ther are some 6 pack dealer boxes at the shop ,but I cant remember if they are Pumas or Wonderedges.I will probably go down there and look around ,and bring some back after the summer is over.I will probably just oil these up and put them away for now,I dont have time to take photos and sell them right now.Melissa says there are way too many in storage.I dont know how to get rid of this many,as there are way too many to sell one at a time, and I dont know any body who would buy them all.Sorry the picture arent too good as I had to take them myself. In one of the photos you can se the microscope I use for doing edges. It will go from 40 to 600 magnification, but I only use 60 and 120.It is hats called a sterio mycroscope and has two variable intensity light sources, and quick focus it does a good job,and also has a photos attachment.I didnt buy this to do razors,I brought it over from my shop when I got some new ones there.I hpe you like looking at the pictures.I really like looking at all the postings in the gallery, the guys do some fantastic work.Best regards Gary

Oh, you glutton! :tongue_sm Gary, I can't imagine anyone having a better collection than you. All these NOS blades from this thread and your Chopper thread make up the best array of razors I've ever seen assembled.

Great googley moogley! I'd be happy to select just 5 out of the piles you have displayed. So if you'll send me your address and times when the house is unoccupied, you will never notice that I have been there.

I know.

the more of these posts of his I read the more I hate him

Oh sweet baby jesus !!!

A big + 1 on that.

I cannot even look at those photos. They are too "over-stimulating" and I will not be able to go to sleep tonight.

<a lot of razor kit (new blades and scales packaged together but never assembeled.>

<lots of Bokers, and Henckels most are new, or as new>

My heart be still! I am sure that someone out there would buy these as a lot. You have a market price depressing number and quality of razors there. I want a couple of each!

coming back to this thread, i find it's better to view the photo's from bottom to top, rather than top to bottom.

it's just easier on the heart strings.

Oh good heavens!

Every time I say "he can't possibly have more razors," you post another set of pictures. It's good you haven't sold all of these at once, nobody would buy new razors with all of those NOS blades .

what is the razor that is far left bottom corner of the 2d from the last photo?

same as on fourth from the last photo far right bottom corner, white scales, sculpted spine?

I think I am smitten by it.

Also the disassembled one above it in the plastic bag with the light brown sort of varigated scales. Round point. Seems to have a word beginning with D on the blade.

Any of those suitable for a razor newb? I'm really interested in trying a straight but have no idea where to start.

Nothing has made me want to try a straight more then looking at all those great razors!!

I hope to pick up my first soon

Awesome pictures.
