Razor ID request

I saw this at an antique mall Saturday for $14.95 (I didn't buy it...yet). It comes with the leather case. I didn't bother to have the display case unlocked to see if there was anything in the leather case, as the case was in the back of the mall and the proprietor was having a tough time walking around.

Any idea what razor this is? The handle looks like it might be an old type but I can't recall seeing a head like that before. I now regret not having a closer look.

Not sure of the ID. But I bet it is an aggressive monster, flat as the blade sits.

I don't think that's a Gillette. And, yeah, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to shave with it. At least not w/o having a lot of bandages on hand. Looks like a straight on a stick.

I can't now, it's still at the antique mall. I didn't check at the time for the reasons mentioned in the original post. I thought someone here would be able to tell me what it was.

Not necessarily wrong. Maybe the handle isn't Gillette, either.

Does look like a beast, though, and it looks like they sharpened the teeth so you'd be sure to know if your angle was off.

I stopped by this antique mall yesterday and took a closer look at this. I found no new information. There was no writing on the case or the razor. Nothing to give me any clue what this is. There was one additional blade in the case. The case was in nice shape. I probably should have bought it, but I resisted and left it there.

I have a couple European razors that look like that. One is a Guido and the other is no name that I assumed was from Germany. I'd have to dig them out since I packed up my miscellaneous razors and stashed them away.

I'd bet the thing is a three piece.

I would have passed too unless the thing was cheaper.
