Rahaim & Malhami razor found

I recently found a Rahaim & Malhami "George Washington" straight razor (in box) in my deceased uncle's tool cabinet. Any idea of who I could contact to get some information about it.

Nice heritage razor! Based on a little info found on Sharp Razor Palace (another forum), Rahaim & Malhami were Turkish importers from Germany, based in New York. Your razor probably dates to the first decade of the 20th century. The cutler in Germany would most likely be difficult to trace. So many German cutlers and so many small importers.

Those scales are classics, used by many makers. From your photo, that razor could be restored to 'shave ready'.
