What's new

RAD? I can quit any time I want.

I just can't make sense out of the current state of things.

Can't quite quit. I saw. And I haven't even been drinking in front of football today.
[With gratitude for moderators, who do things like edit for us poor flawed creatures]

That's almost all of them. I've got a Tech not in the picture (and that I haven't used yet -- just haven't gotten to it). A black-handled Superspeed, and a generic (Pakistani?) TTO that was my first. I've used all of them in the picture at least once. I'm not sure what I'm keeping over the next year or so.... I'm pretty much using the stainless razors, the open combs, and the Fatboy, now.

Have you tried a Titan? I think it is one of the best Stainless i have tried yet...i use a R1 plated/Titan

The Titan is one of the stainless. At 4 O'Clock in the picture. Titan H1. (Between the GEM and the Fatboy).
Used it this morning... It's mostly been my "go to" since I got it, though every third or so shave I dial back to something less aggressive. Mostly that's been the Weber DLC.

(I might get an R1 baseplate -- I'd like to try it. But at the moment my razor budget is sort of shot. I'll have to save for it. And... I have the H1 and I know how to use it!)

Great collection! Let's see you try. :biggrin1:

Ohboy. And all I ever really wanted was to be good with a straight...

There is nothing to feel guilt about. As long as you don't buy a new razor everyday. I bought one every week in the beginning. <shame>
Although I have a favorite “go to” razor, now I force myself to use the others because it gets me out of complacent mind, a different razor a different way to shave, new things to realize.

That’s the bright side of the RAD and rotating.

I can't quite quit either, see.

It is not uncommon but still some hope for you!
I was admiring your beautiful museum on your own thread, Mark... wow.
I'm not a collector -- I just ended up with razors that were discussed on forums and (usually) came up for a good price somehow.... If they're not good shavers for me, I assume it's me and I need to practice more with that particular razor. But I have enough that I don't get around to those that don't seem to be good shavers right away.... I am a strange loop.
