quick question

It all depends on which way the hair on your face grows. You need to map the growth directions on each area of your face.

what does WTG, XTG, ATG? im assuming wtg means with the grain? thats straight down right?

thanks
like mmack66 said, it may be different for everybody... however, generally speaking:
- with the grain (wtg) is from north to south (you may see things like n-s, or n-to-s)
- across the grain (xtg) is from e-w or w-e
- against the grain (atg) is from s-n

For me, these hold pretty much true all across my face, though my mustache near the edges seem to grow out horizontally, and righ tunder my jawline, near the bend of my jaw, seems to grow horizontally towards my back. Everybody will be a little different...

It depends on hair grow. Try to map the direction on your face with a 2-3 days worth of beard, sometimes 1 is enough. That way, you will do a real WTG/XTG and eventually, ATG.
