Hello straight razor guys!
I am a DE guy mainly, but I have familiarized my self enough w/ the better
brands of SE razors just in case I want to try one. Well, I came across a pair
today and have come to ask what you guys think of the pricing.
One was a 6/8 Wade and Butcher with the nose-tip notch, and what looked
like black wooden scales. It was quite rough in looks (surface flaws) but the
blade edge was good. That one was marked $75 which I thought was a bit
high for its poor/fair condition.
The 2nd one is the one I am really interested in, $85 marked.
Dubl Duck Satin Edge w/ clear acryilic scales with brass inserts.
I would say good/excellent condition.
The owner tried to pull $60 outta me for some trashed Techs and a Superspeed...
Plus, I have seen the Dubl Specials and Satins flux alot on the Bay anywhere from $15 to $150...
So, I figured I'd come ask the good guys on the pricing.
Thanks all
