Question on Shaving mug

I have my Great-Grandfather's shaving cup. It appears to be porcelain with gold rings around it and it says Japan T on the bottom. The ring it sits on at the base is not glazed. Here is the question. It has a chip out of it and has since I got it. Are there places that repair and regold these things?

Just wondering,
probably not practical,

The ring on the bottom is not glazed as it is where is sat in the kiln when it was fired. I generally seal chips with a super glue product. I am not familiar enough with pottery to know if it can be re-glazed and fired again, or not, but hopefully one of the great potter's around here will chime in.

I am a potter and would not attempt to try this. I you might find a person that is an expert in restoration to do it but it might cost quite a bit.
