Question for those who use OS (or Ivy Club) AS.

So, I picked up a bottle of the Ivy Club stuff at Family Dollar. Pretty nice splash.

Here's my question. When you use this stuff, the smell lingers for awhile. (Most of my *** lose their scent in a few minutes.) So, do you have a particular cologne that works well with the OS smell? Do you just splash some of the AS on your neck and chest and be done with it? Do you layer it with the new P&G OS cologne? Or do you use a different cologne?

Enquiring minds want to know.

To go with the Ivy Club -

Vintage Old Spice cologne. Pretty much anything, Shulton or P&G, that came in a glass bottle.

P&G plastic bottle "classic" cologne. More floral and powdery, especially on application. Some of that goes away after it dries down.

Mama Bear Aged Spice cologne splash.

In other words, you don't apply anything else besides your aftershave? Or does this mean you apply the aftershave splash to parts of your body besides your face?

When I use the Ivory Club Old Spice I pair it up with Shulton's Old Spice cologne. Managed to grab a couple of bottles of vintage colognes off ebay a while back.

Like others here, I do not use any cologne...just AS, regardless of what kind of AS I am using.

I only use cologne after I use Ivy Club though, normally I'm an AS guy too.

Hey, at a buck sixty a bottle, I can see overdosing on the Ivy Club in order to try and retain the scent. Perhaps it can be distilled?

I often just wear AS as cologne, but if im in the mood for cologne too, i think carefully about what will go with it

I tried it, prefer white lightning that spice just adds to the heart-burn

I should go and do an Ivy Club "Mandom" commercial spoof like #6 and shower in it...maybe even tape it...

Since there still seems to be old juice circulating around, that'll be a possibility for a while. But after it's gone? Does Mama Bear's Aged Spice pass muster?

This is what I do. Not a big cologne guy to begin with and, as you said, the scent has good longevity.

Alot of times I let it wear down a bit and top it with Cool Water
Surprisingly good mix.....I smell like Snoop Dogg and his dad!
