Re the agressiveness of a slim, is 1 the least, and 9 the most ?

And, what number would be similar to the agressiveness (mild) of a Tech ?
I seem to recall in another thread, that a 3 would be similar.

Yep, 1 is very mild and 9 is very aggressive. I have no idea about the similar Tech aggressiveness, as I have never used a Tech.

The blade gap on a Tech is equivalent to a Slim Adjustable set at 1. However they shave differently primarily due to head geometry. The Adjustable set to at least 2 and even better at 3 will result in a shave more comparable to a Tech.

Both are great razors, but the Slim is one of my favs.

I'd guess a 2 is pretty close to what a Tech provides.
