QCS - can I get Vostok in UK?

I really fancy trying this in the Summer.
Is it possible to get it in the UK, without ridiculous shipping costs?

Vostoc is awesome for the summer. I order several different items when I order so the shipping per item does not feel so painful.

I don't know about the shipping thing, but pick up the ASB while your at it. I had a cold water shave with vostok cream and after shave last night and my eyes were watering. After trying a sampler, I planned to pick up a tub for the summer....but I could not wait that long. It's awesome!

I can't find the shipping costs to UK on their site at checkout.
Just the $32 total for 2 tubs of cream.

Thanks.
I didn't seem to get that far & only got the total.
That would make 1 tub of cream about £18:50

Go ahead an order the Vostok, but since you have to pay for shipping cost overseas you need to make that expense worth while. I suggest you order the vostok bath soap and a few other items that will not cost you anymore in shipping cost. I have both the vostok shave soap, bath soap, and aftershave balm plus several of their other bath soaps. They are all great and you will love all things Vostok especially during the hot weather. I gave out several bars of the Vostok soap this Christmas and several have already commented on how great it felt to the skin.

The problem is that the shipping is not a fixed cost. As you add items, the shipping goes up pretty quick. My one complaint about QCS is their shipping prices are very high. I understand that they offer priority mail, but I'd gladly pay less for a couple days wait.

Zygalski, I am not sure if you were the one who e-mailed me, but I did reply to a Brit with shipping questions earlier today. I would suggest ordering more product to spread the shipping costs out. While shipping is not a flat rate, the cost per item dramatically decreases as you order more items.

When a domestic order weighs more than 13 ounces, it has to be shipped Priority Mail. First Class is only an option for orders under 13 ounces.

Could you please let me know what you are trying to order? Our shipping costs are equal to whatever USPS charges us plus a little extra to pay for the shipping materials (box, tape, label, etc.). We do not make a profit off of the shipping. We also offer free shipping for US orders over $75.

Matt,

Would it be possible to add a Small Flat Rate box option? I noticed that when placing and order the first Priority Mail option was around $12 for my zip.
The three refill pucks I was planning to order would fit in $5.95 Small Flat Rate box, but the option doesn't appear in the shipping estimator.

Cheers,

Chris, three refill pucks do not fit into a small flat rate box. We are currently in the process of switching shopping carts. The new one should allow us to offer a small flat rate box. We can do it on our current cart, but cannot restrict when it shows as an option. Occasionally, we do have some orders where the customer pays slightly more than what it costs us, but we refund those right away.

Hi Matt.
Yes it was me.
I was after the Vostok cream & wondered what the best rate inc p&p was for 2 tubs sent to UK.

It's worth bearing in mind that, while you will save on shipping costs by ordering more, if your order is worth more than £15 customs will snag it and you'll have to pay the 20% VAT plus an £8 handling fee. Things do sometimes slip through but they seem to jump on anything from the US.

This is a good point. I didn't realise and got stung for over £30 when they intercepted a Feather AS-D1 I bought on the B/S/T.

Just a thought. If you are looking for a menthol kick, have you tried adding menthol crystals to a cream you already have? I added some to some unscented eShave cream and it worked out great. They are only a couple of quid in most chemists and you get much more than you could ever use.

I think its the luck of the draw whether you get stung for the vat or not, and i thought that if goods were second hand they were exempt but i could be wrong.

My tub arrived today through a German seller on ebay.
Quite a nice restrained scent & an almondy appearance.
