Purchasing a Flask

I'm looking to purchase a flask. Can anyone recommend a reputable online retailer or perhaps a brick and mortar in the Twin Cities area?

Thanks

Walmart has some steel flasks on clearance for less than $5. I'm sure they're not the highest of quality, but for the price......

I bought one from Wal-Mart early this year and now it is rusting inside where the threaded neck attaches to the top of the flask. But the outside looks nice.

I wonder if witch hazel stops rust?

I got a nice flask from a local Orvis (http://orvis.com/) couple weeks back. I don't see it on their sight. It was $60 USD, but it has rounded edges which are a plus for slipping in and out of your pocket. Though I found that pewter scuffes easily - flip side, it buffes out easily.

I fill it with Blackberry Brandy - my winter warmer. My other winter warmer is Sambuka.

http://www.emsa.de have some nice ones

or Sigg (Swiss made)

The bad thing about a flask...:bored: the body temperature will heat any liquor inside, more in a jacket chest pocket than an external hip pocket...

Nice a hot bourbon!!:frown:

I used to take one skiing, just change your choice of spirit and think Nice warm cavaldos, cognac, spiced rum. You get the idea:thumbup1:

I'm from Minnesota and also bought one for skiing. I spent about $20 at ThingsRemembered. Should be many locations in the metro. Sometimes formal wear rental places will sell em too.

ThingsRemembered is a cool store.

I have a 6oz. flask from these guys: http://www.singletreedesign.com/

Have had it for years and years, and yes the pewter takes on a patina, but I think that just makes it cooler. Flask has held up through many camping trips, friends' weddings, nefarious trips to the movies and parties. Probably more than what you want to spend, but hey, it's nice to know what's out there, right?

Oh, and they polish up quite nicely with a bit of Flitz and a polishing cloth :)
