Looks pretty good. I had one that had some similar staining, but I got worried that it might have been due to the metal having touched a flame at some point, so I returned it to the seller.
Hopefully the staining on yours will come off with a bit of Maas. Since the gold is already mostly gone, it's not really risky to try to remove the staining before you consider contacting the seller.
