Pulling the trigger on E J sandlewood

Well Fendrihan sent me a sample of the stuff with my last order and I really enjoyed it so I decided I should pull the trigger along with some blades. I am looking forward to being able to choose between soap and cream for my shaves.

It is nice to have a selection of both soaps and creams. I decide in the morning what sounds good to me.

I recently received a sample of the ej sandalwood as well and really like it. I also tried out the ej pre shave sample with it.. Also quite nice. Has some menthol in the pre shave which was unexpected, but nice.

Scent: way different.
Performance: not as great, but still worth trying.

It's one of my favourite scents. The soap is much better performer than the cream IMO. I use the cream to superlather with the soap.

I really like the scent of the EJ sandalwood cream, the scent is just amazing. Performance wise it was pretty good too, I don't have any qualms about the performance.

I'd take it over a higher performing soap just for the amazing scent, it is really that good IMO.

The scent is very similar to T&H sandalwood... not a natural sandalwood like AOS but not a bomb like TOBS. That TOBS sandalwood is a blast from the past and strong. Not a bad thing but still...

I found the performance to be very good, for me better than TOBS. It's very moisturizing, for me a little too much. Definitely a winter cream.
