Proraso

I only know of one Proraso, one that comes in a plastic tub or tube. Which one are you referring to as the one in 'the bowl'?
The Sandalwood is a fantastic performer. It has Shea butter in it so it's very moisturizing. I love the scent it's more of a real Sandalwood scent. For $10.00 It's a no brainer go ahead and try it. You could always BST it if you don't like it. I do prefer the Green soap it just seems to last longer than the tube. YMMV.

Do you mean 'tube' and not 'tub'?
Proraso is Proraso, whether in the tube as a cream or in the tub as a soft soap. Both are very good product and excellent values.
I would get the green tub "bowl". It will last a very long time and is very cooling.
Hey, not so bad. On the pipe smoking forums we get an occasional question about bowels, doesn't take long to realize we're talking about bowls...Thank God!!!

Go with the bowl (tub) it lasts a very long time. It has out last 2 small tubes of CO Bigelow (re-labeled Proraso)at least for me it did. It's all about preference.
I've been using a tube of CO Bigelow for about a week now and you can't even tell I have made a dent in the tube. I get the big ones from Bath and Body Works for about $10. It's a pretty darn good deal. To get even more life out of my cream, I superlather with some regular VDH soap. Makes a great lather but if I don't use enough water (as I still do from time to time) it dries pretty quickly on my face.
