Proraso sensitive skin VS col. conk

Is there a trick to Proraso sensitive skin? I just am not loving it that much. Col. Conk has been amazing so far for me.

I just completed my first week of DE shaving. I've only tried the two shave soaps. I have Arko as well I just haven't given it a whirl yet.

Just thought I'd post up an observation so far. Still loving it!

Not sure about any tricks. There's too may good products to waste time with one that doesn't work. OTOH, after only a week... Put it aside and give Arko and some others a whirl. Then come back to the Proraso later. You might find you like it after you get some more experience. Personally, I never cared for Proraso. Doesn't mean you won't.

I find Proraso great, but find it takes a wee bit more water and effort to lather up

i like them both equally. i'm probably biased towards the proraso since it's in my blood, being Italian and all. but both are great. i find that you don't need much cream to make very good lather. if you use too much, you will definitely need more water to even things out.

Marcos method is the trick I can think of. It was my first soap, and I've enjoyed it for bowl lathering as well, but the best shave I've had with it was when trying Marcos method. It certainly brought it to the next level.

+1 Marcos method works well for almost everything but shines on Italian soft soaps.
