Proper Disposal

I am using mine to build a statue in the back yard. I lay a just-discarded blade on the stack, and wait for it to rust in position and bond with the other rusted razors. Since the thickness of one blade is just 0.10mm (0.004”), it takes a long time to make a statue of any size. If I discard two blades a week, it will take 5,000 weeks of shaving to make a stack of blades one meter tall. I am going a modern art statue, so will need more than one blade for each layer.

This is going to take some time. Maybe this should be a community project.

Now all I have to do is to keep the neighborhood crows from stealing the last blades before they rust into position. They just love shiny objects. I think they use them to cut up the chipmunks they catch.

Davy Ray,
I think if you use some real old Gillette Blues the crows might not be able to spot them.
I cannot vouch for racoons, however.

Blade bank for the win! My home was built in 1890, but the bathrooms have all been remodeled, so I don't have a magic disappearing blade hole. If it were I who were remodeling, I'd have installed one for sure. I guess a quick swipe with the jigsaw would do the trick though! :w00t:
