Preshave PIF

Ok, so I have put this stuff up on the B/S/T twice already, and have had no interest. So I thought I'd PIF a bottle, and hopefully get someone interested, or at least get word out whether this product is good/bad. There are a few rules, but first I'll go over the product.


PIF: 1 Bottle of Pre-Shave Lotion made by the Fuller Brush Company. Comes with the box, and is obviously vintage.
The back of box reads "Distributed By The Fuller Brush Co. E. Hartford, Ct. 06108 Made in U.S.A. 85E-0569.

According to my research the East Hartford plant was open from 1960 to 1973, which would make this lotion at least 40 years old.

Ok, now for the rules. This PIF is open to anyone who wants it, you just need to post "I'm in" here in this thread. Winner will be chosen by the end of the month. PIF is conus only. I'd like this PIF to go to someone who has a regular pre-shave product routine. The reason for this is that as winner, you are required to write a review of this product within a timely manner of receiving it, and I figure that a person who does not regularly use pre-shave products will not be able to properly review this, or not know enough to review it.

So... That's it... I can't seem to sell this stuff, so lets see if I can give it away.

I'm definitely in and would lie to try something new. My Pre-shave routine now includes a variety of oils, Proraso Pre-shave, and my homemade blend of oils (castor and olive, scented with essential oils). I'd love to try something new!! Thanks for the great PIF and if I win, I would love to do a review to help your cause!

Im in. I use a preshave routine mostly glycerin rubbed into the my hair after I have done a face cleansing in the shower. It give me an extra layer of protection as my skin is very sensitive. Always looking for better stuff to help protect my face and skin.

I'm in! I use AoS lemon preshave oil now and John Allan slick water sometimes.

Nice pif, pretty cool to have something like new from that long ago. I would enter but I don't really have a shave routine. Just goo it up and slash the face with the old fusion blade.

I'm in. I currently wash with 365 Rosemary/mint glycerin soap and then use Maggard Lime oil under my soap or cream.

I'm in! I regularly use a homemade mixture for my preshave routine. I've also used AOS unscented oil, Proraso pre/post, and a few others. I'd love to give this a try and offer a detailed writeup!
