I use the green chrox powder, and I also know you can use the red oxide, is there any other powders you can use for sharpening?

ive only experience with the two you mentioned, but ive also heard talk of cesium (SP?) oxide, and then there are all the diamond sprays..
Specifying powder might be too restrictive, for an abrasive might be available other than powders. So, broadening the question on my own, another item that comes to mind is carbon/charcoal or some form. Isn't that what is in ink in newspaper print, and also what is in Dovo black?

I always thought dovo black/blue paste was their finishing paste?
Cerium, used mostly for polishing jewelry.
Finer then CrOx. Works in a similar way, but it is white & less messy.
More expensive then CrOx.
