I've had a couple of Populars in the past and always sold them on, I think I found them just a bit too aggressive. My last two had the Barber pole knurling, I tried shaving with this with a lighter touch and that seemed to do the trick, and although I'm not too keen on gold plated razors, I think it's nice to have one in the collection.

Nice razor Sam, I have never seen that case before, is the blade case plastic also?
Nice find, aside from the baseplate it looks quite similar to the American Sheraton but with some nice heft to it.
Looks nice. If it's like the Sheraton, it will be a tad aggressive (at least mine is), just use a light hand and it should work out fine.
