Please help me ID this razor

Hello gentlemen.

I found this razor at a newly opened antique shop near my job. I paid 10 bucks. I d using the numbers etched in the razor to ID it, but I had no luck. Any help would be great. Also, what differences can I expect between this and my normal TTOs? Here are some pics

Great score, they are wonderful shavers. I do not think the case is original.

Congratulations on a great find. As stated before it is an ABC Pocket set razor, minus the case and blade bank. I think the D series serial number is around 1916. That is an excellent $10 score. They are sort of rare. I've heard they give an excellent shave.

This, yes D 49294 makes it 1916 -- almost 100 years old.

Wow thanks for all the great info! I never heard of ABC before this. Super excited.

I know it looks like a D on the code but it is actually a B when you look close. What year might that be?

You're absolutely right, the pic was tough to read, it's a B which makes it a 1909 according to this: http://wiki.badgerandblade.com/US_Gillette_Dating_Information
