This is my first DE razor. I found it yesterday at an antique shop. The handle is very short (about 2"). It has made in Germany stamped under the head.
Please help ID my new DE razor

Looks very similar to a Gillette Tech travel model.
Many of these type of razors were fabricated in Germany. Some with multiple piece handles to avoid that short-short feeling.
Congrats, whatever brand it is, it looks like it is in nice shape!!

Any idea how old it would be if it turns out to be a Gillette?

Not a Gillette - some German knock off of a tech. No idea of the date. Any other markings?

No other markings. Is this your best guess, or are you pretty certain its a german knock off of a tech? I didn't think the tech was a three piece razor? To my unskilled eye it looks more similar to the "old Gillette"
Either way, its very heavy brass and seems to be pretty decent quality. This is the first DE razor I've ever seen (I'm in my twenties)

Hey welcome I'm also in my twenties (towards the lower end). I own a tech and it most definitely is a 3 piece razor. That looks like a travel tech knock off but a nice find none-the-less.
