What does it mean and what's the difference?

Platinum probably makes the razor blade edge more durable and PTFE is the abbreviation for the chemical name of Teflon, which I assume makes the razor blade edge smoother.

+1. Teflon and Platinum add to the smoothness and also the durability of the edge to make it last longer.

While I am not a chemist, I do know that PTFE stands for polytetrafluoroethylene.

I did know hot to say it, but I had to look up how to spell it!
