Plating Question?

Hello everyone. I was wondering if any of you could tell me if these Gillettes are plated or possibly stainless steel? I ask because I'm in the process of cleaning them up and the polish that I have on hand tends to eat plating like nobodys buisness. There's a good bit of corrosion on one of them and I'd hate to take off any plating that may be under it.
Also, while I'm at it, do any of you know how to touch up the anodizing on the handles?

The "white metal" surfaces on all three are nickel plated brass and it's not a very thick plating. The one exception is the twist to open knob on the Super Speed which I believe to be chromed plastic.

I'd strongly recommend against using anything stronger than a soap scum detergent on these.

I have no suggestions for the black handles, I'm afraid.
