Plating in black nickel

Anybody know someone who does it? I'd like to get a razor plated with it.

Not positive who would, but after Googling it, I think anything would look amazing in black nickel! I'll be following this thread closely.

I've been thinking about plating my razor... I know the process, but not sure of the steps.. Would they need to take it apart? For example a Fatboy

I know this has been an issue with guitar parts. I kept getting the same two responses.

First, its a thin coating over standard nickel plating so its wear and corrosion resistance are sketchy.

Second, it's non ROHS compliant. This apparently makes shipping a nightmare across most international borders and shrinks your potential market.

I wouldn't mind seeing some razors in it though.
