Places to buy locally

I live in north east ohio and I was curious on places that I can buy different aftershaves. I can easily get stuff like old spice, brut and aqua velva but I wanted to know where else I can look to get try different aftershaves.

Do you live near a mall? If so I'd hit it up for places like Bath & Body Works, any department store and there are many speciality places (kiosks in our local mall) that sell colognes and aftershaves. You should also find some other options at drug stores too. Good luck.

As with everything in our hobby, most retailers mostly ignore us, higher-end retailers are hit-and-miss with expensive mainstream offerings, random 'boutique' stores will surprise you with their stock, and the best deals come via the internet.

Yep, that about sums it up.

If you know of any old Mom & Pop-type places, you may want to give those a look. That, and any antique stores/flea markets.

Super Bed Bath & Beyond (different from the regular one) stocks some wet-shaving goodies.

Right now is probably the best time to stock up on Aftershaves. The stores have put out their Christmas stock of the Aftershave/ Cologne classics, and at really awesome prices too.

Recently, I scored a huge 8oz bottle of Stetson Aftershave at Wal-Mart for under $10. At the local Big Lots, I got a huge bottle of Canoe Aftershave for $10.

Check Walgreens for Clubman Aftershave, Sally Beauty for Master Bay Rum, and Avon for their Wild Country (which smell similar too, but not identical to Clubman, and Canoe).

On the lower end of the price scales, Aqua Velva Ice Blue, and Skin Bracer are stellar; they are classics for a reason. You especially want to try these if you like menthol!

Aftershave doesn't have to be expensive to be good.

Sally Beauty's got the Masters Bay Rum I like.

I've used it for the last year almost continuously. The bottle goes a loooooong way. It's fantastic on the skin and does everything I want it to, but I'm burning out on the scent a little.

I didnt know there were places close by me that carried Truefitt & Hill, TOBS etc but I hunted around the internet and found a few. If I wasnt so lucky I would just order online and bit the bullet.
