Yes it is. I was reading "Moby-Dick" a couple of years ago, and Stubb was described as having a "short, black little pipe." As much as my imagination wanted it to be something like a hardwood MM Tom Sawyer, logic told me it would most likely be a clay. Whether it was black clay, or black from use, I don't know. Anyway, the black cutty suits the description, so it's my Stubb pipe.

The Moretti pipes and the Castello are handsome. Something about those Bulldogs and Rhodesians I like. That Custom-Bilt is quite nice too.

Yep! Sometimes I mix the ends of bags together, other times I'll later them in a bowl. I'll also take something like luxury bullseye flake and separate the centers from the rest of the tobacco, and layer those separately for a different experience.
