Okay, when I'm method shaving I add the pink paste and get a painful tingle on my face when put on. Yesterday I tried a full finishing pass with just paste, I smoothed it on and felt unbelievable burning! Does anyone else have this kind of reaction? Thanks

I too have skin that's sensitive to too hot a mixture. I blend just a bit of #1 paste into a tub of #2 to avoid the 'burning' sensation you describe. This seems to be due to the increased 'Velocity' of the paste. I'd ask Charles what the cause might be. Perhaps the PH is outside your (our) comfort range.
