I tried to like it but ultimately I think it's terrible. One of the worst. It dries down to a weird smell. Other than that it works great, like any Pinaud.

I still haven't tried it yet! If it smells anything like the brilliantine I don't think I'll care for it.

Awful stuff. I came across three bottles a few months ago and tested one which was opened. It smelled just like Vitalis hair tonic.
I looked for a bottle of it today and I couldn't find it. They had the brilliantine and the grease (which I used in my misspent almost-youth) and they had every other Pinaud product that you could imagine, but no Tres Flores fragrance. I haven't heard a single good word about it yet, but I feel strangely compelled to try it out.

This makes me all the more determined to try it. The same goes for Vegetal.
I wonder if it's already out of production? I was just looking at the Clubman site and I don't see anything except the Tres Flores pomade and brilliantine. Clubman Rob--use your special powers to help us out here!

Lilac Vegetal is Empyrean; Tres Flores is Cocytus. You must try the Veg; it is a rite of passage, love it or hate it. Tres Flores should simply be avoided in my opinion.
It's still at the Mexican grocer where I first found it. If I had more $ I would be happy to send it out for interested parties. But I am poor and lazy. Maybe one day.

According to the distributor that I contacted, AII is "currently not accepting orders for Tres Flores aftershave".

I agree if you are one with The Veg then there's a good chance you'll like this too.Actually the first time I tried it I thought it resembled The Veg,maybe a lil sweeter,floral scent.
It has a few more notes than the single lilac that the VEG has but the primary scent is lilac (maybe even the same one used in the VEG since it is made by the same company).
It might be easier for the uninitiated rather than jumping straight into the VEG without proper training and orientation
