Checked out a local ad for two old straight razors, got a really nice Henckels and a razor by Allegany instrument Corp, as well as a Biber paddle strop. The Henckels is a model 70 1/2, with one black scale inlaid with the Henckels twin man symbol and the word Friodur, and one white scale inlaid with friseurwerkzeuge salzbug-gnigl surrounding the name F Glanz.
The blade has the same name etched on it- F. GLANZ SALZBURG-GNIGL along with the usual Henckels markings on the tang. Great blade in plastic coffin.
