I found a full copy of CS4 extended, in its box, serial numbers and all, at the rubbish tip shop the other day. Someone threw it out. ***???

But if that serial number had already been activated, then it's no good now. CS4 users can upgrade to CS5 for about $300. That worth it to do in my opinion. The CS5 Extended program sells for just about an even "Grand" by itself with no discounts. I got mine for $298 with an educational discount.

All you can do is load it up and see if it had already been previously registered by a previous owner or not.

Loaded fine. I didn't push my luck and try to register it myself, though. Do you think I should? If it has already been registered could me trying to do it again stop it working?

I like using "The Gimp", you can do pretty much anything with it, plus it's free

I really would like to find some tutorials on how to use it. I just recently picked up an Academic version and upgraded from my old as dirt one. Im completely lost now.
