Peterson 107 Pipes - Where are they hiding?

Does anyone have a Peterson 107 shape? This is a chubby large bowled billiard. There's something about a chubby billiard that really appeals to me, but this pipe seems to be very hard to find. I'm also very partial to the P-Lip, which adds another layer of scarcity.

Anyone have them? Do you like them? Where did you find them?

I'm not really a fan of the green and blue Petersons, not sure why, just not my thing I guess. I've given up on a P-Lip version and did find a fishtail in the Shannon finish. I've been after SWMBO to get me a new pipe and sent it to her. She commented that she really liked it, but then was being dodgey about getting it "we'll talk about it...", so I think she may be trying to surprise me.

You might try Smoking Pipes. Milan Tobacconist will order any Peterson shape if you pay the $5 distributor custom order charge. That may be your best bet, and they are great folks.

I've been watching Smoking Pipes for one, but no luck in a finish that I like. I might give Milan Tobacconist a call if SWMBO doesn't actually get me one.

Not two minutes after this SWMBO admitted that she'd already ordered me a 107 from JRCigars. As I had suspected, she was being dodgey about it to try to keep it a surprise. I figured as much and was trying to rattle her cage a bit when she admitted it. Should have kept my mouth shut! I told her we could call it an early anniversary gift since that's coming up in 2 weeks.

Not the exact pipe since it's not from smoking pipes, but this is what's on its way:

Beautiful pipe, congratulations. You are a fortunate man to have married a wonderful and giving wife. Congrats on the upcoming anniversary.

Thanks! I should have clarified, it's our third anniversary being together, we just passed one year of being engaged. Should probably hurry up and get married before she changes her mind!

A fiancé that pays attention to your pipe mania and picks out the exact pipe you're lusting after for a gift? Keeper (pronounced "Keep her")!

+1 to that! My wife just accepts what I do but doesn't feel the need to encourage me by buying me stuff lol.

No kidding, can't give them a chance to change their minds.

Greetings to all; this is my first post here. To answer Luke's query, a couple of weeks ago I wrote Peterson about the scarcity of 107 billiards; they responded that it was simply a matter of lack of materials--in other words, they are short of the proper supply of briar for this particular model of pipe. I own a number of 107s; two Dracula, three Irish Harps, and my prize, a Rossdale. You may have guessed I like this particular model a lot--I consider it the ideal billiard shape. However,

Greetings all: glad to join your forum. Luke, I recently wrote Peterson about the scarcity of the 107, and they responded there was a shortage of briar to make this particular pipe, which you may know is rather large: be patient and in a while you'll see more 107s appearing. For myself, I own five 107s; 2 Draculas, 3 Irish Harps, and a Rossdale.

That's a good-looking briar, Luke. I had a 2010 Father's Day Edition 107 that I unloaded a while ago - a bit large for me, but it's a great-looking, classically Peterson billiard. Congratulations.
