Peacock Straight Razor

I need some help on finding out more about this straighter razor. I was at a auction and bought some boxes and found four straight razors in one of the lots I bought. I do not know much about straight razors and looking for some information on what I have. The box says W.H. Morley and Sons, and on the blade it says atlantic cutlery germany. Does anyone know how old this razor is, if the handle is ivory or plastic, and general information on what I have? One of the other ones I have is a Wade and Butcher Sheffield in a black case. Thank you for your help.

Paul

I can tell you that the box doesn't go with that razor, and that those scales are sweet. I'm sure someone else will jump in with some more useful information.

*edit* People will probably be able to help you best with detailed pictures of the scales (handle) and maker's mark.

Just judging by what I have seen those scales are a celluloid. I think they may be an after market scale(?) as I have seen identical scales on different razors. I don't know if there were companies that made just scales so I may be talking completely out of my butt on this one.

Just did an ebay search for "peacock razor" and saw four razors with either identical or similar scales on four different blade manufacturers
