Wanted to give a shout out for Parfums de Nicolai's Patchouli Homme. First and foremost, this is not a head shop patchouli. In fact, if it weren't for some earthiness, you might not know patchouli was present. Instead of reminding you of the unwashed hippies you may have encountered in college, the frag is so well composed and retro that you don't feel polished enough to wear it. If there is one patchouli you could wear with a tux, this is it.

Wonderfull scent! I have a decant of it. Very classic and masculine scent. It´s not the usual patchouly scent though, had a hard time detecting the patchouly also.

I ordered my bottle about 15 minutes after I smelled the sample.
Having seen sandalwoods listed without a sandalwood note, I am now curious why Luck Scent lists this patouchli without a patouchli note.
Is there a way to get a free (or very cheap) sample of this? I LOVE patchouli, but can't exactly wear it to the office...
