Parker 90R, what is similar?

Hey Everyone!

I have just started DE shaving and am using a Parker 90R. I am pretty happy with it as it won't allow a bad angle. The bar and top are spaced to pull the blade away if you aren't in a very small range. But, there always is a but to a post like this isn' there?

The open/close part of the handle is not at the far end of the handle, heck it's 3/4 of the handle. Moving the blade across the different angles of my face, sometimes the handle will loosen, needless to say this really worries me as I am new to all this.

Is there another TTO DE razor that has the "beginner" head so I won't remove part of my face while learning this?

Thanks

You might want to go vintage with a Gillette Super Speed or a Schick Krona. They are plentiful on e-Bay and easy to clean. Scrubbing bubbles and a toothbrush usually does the trick.

I just picked up a Gillette Super Speed flair tip on Ebay for $22 including shipping.
Thanks for the help.

If I had only known >.<, I could have saved the money on the Parker!

Since you like the Parker, this one should be good. Same relative weight and size. Brand new also seems to be what you prefer since you bought a parker. Barber pole handle. Cadet Safety Razor Model 15. Shop around and read some reviews.
