To make a long story short, I once had what was a lightly or unused bottle of the green Palmolive aftershave from the 50s. I had no use for it, so I sold it online to a collector for a fair price.
Anyway, the scent of that aftershave has continued to fascinate me since I first smelled it. It smelled so familiar to something that I had smelled before, and I can only remember that it reminded me of Christmas and had smelled of cloves, and perhaps pine.
Has anyone ever smelled the original 1950s Palmolive aftershave? If so, what does the scent evoke for you? Furthermore, is there anything similar to it on the market today, whether it be a colone or aftershave?
