Pairing aftershave with deodorant?

Anyone else pair aftershaves with deodorant?

For me its easy. Old spice AS, Old Spice Deodorant (original round stick formula). Skin Bracer AS with Speed Stick Regular scent deodorant. I need a good bay rum deodorant, are there any?

I've settled on Skin Bracer, Old Spice, Bay rum (captains choice) Osage rub in summer, and occasionally Clubman as my aftershaves. I don't use Clubman through summer at all, where as the rest work all year round, but I go easy on menthol during winter, as I live in upstate NY.

I'm talking plain deodorant here. Anti-perspirant/Deodorants are all far too powdery smelling, and I am done with them. I use certain-dri at night to keep sweating down. It adds to the cost, but my pits are smelling fresher and feeling much better now.

I use right guard gel deodorants because the other stuff makes me break out, so it goes on with whatever AS I'm using.

Not me. I use Arm and Hammer Antiperspirant as my daily pit product and whatever Aftershave I feel like that day. On special occasion, I'll match my cologne with a deodorant as I have the Davidoff Adventure cologne and deo stick. They compliment nicely, as you would expect.

Since I switch to Thai Crystal (alum block) deodorant from Old Spice High Endurance Fresh I don't have the problem of pairing aftershaves. Otherwise AQ Ice would pair well with the Old Spice.
