I was put on to the stone by my honemeister. I use it for touch-up and a final finisher. If you order - call or email ask them to hand pick one you can use for straight razor honing. They are a great outfit and a pleasure to do business. I lapped it flat with a DMT 325 and finished with a 600 wet sandpaper. A great Jnat.

I have one from CKTG as well. Still learning how to do the slurry thing, but I mostly use it with just water for a finisher. Very fine, very hard. I did flatten it with a DMT XXC, but it didn't require much.

Looks like a good deal to me - I'd bet that if you emailed Mark and told him you're going to use it with razors he'd select a good one for you.

The ones I've seen and tried have been very nice, they are thinner than most Ozukus, around +\- 10mm, maybe that is why they are in that price range. Recommended.
