Since I started dabbling in smoking a Pipe this past week, I have been eying up products I never paid attention to before. Yesterday I stopped to fill up with fuel at a small town (unbranded) gas station. I noticed they stocked quite the selection of Black and Mild Cigars (sold as singles as well), and Swisher Sweets Cigarillos. I thought they might be a fun little diversion. Especially for $1 each!! Woot, cheap is good!! lol.
I picked up the following as cigar singles:
-Black and Mild Apple
-Black and Mild Summer Blend
-Black and Mild Wood Tipped
-Black and Mild Wood Tipped Wine
-Middleton's Cherry Blend
And the following as Cigarillos two packs:
-Black and Mild Sweets
-Swisher Sweets Peach
I remember as a young child, my grandfather smoking both a pipe, and Swisher Sweets Cigars.
So far it would seem that the tobacco contained in these is not quite as flavorful as my pipe tobacco. The Peach, and the Apple having no detectable peach, or apple flavor.
Anyone have any thoughts on these products, or recommendations on ones to try?
P.S. Yeah I know these are typically considered to not be "real" cigars. I am more concerned with enjoyment, and these have been an enjoyment; although not as enjoyable as smoking my pipe.
