Opinions on these creams please?

I've just ordered some TOBS almond, Dovo mint and Proraso extra sensitive. Anyone got any opinions on these?

P.s. If I asked for opinions before I ordered anything I would just get confused and never buy anything. I much prefer to jump in head first and then find out if it'll be ok.:001_smile

I have the TOBS Almond and find it to be quite nice. It performs well and has a nice, mild almond scent. It produces a nice lather and cushions well .Overall, no complaints that I can think of.

 - Taylor's of Old Bond Street Almond: Smells great (almost like birthday cake) but I've found all of Taylor's creams to be average performers (thick but not very slick lather, not very moisturising).

 - Proraso Extra Sensitive: Everything I've tried from Proarso has been excellent.

:confused1 - Dovo Mint: Never tried it.

I've tried several TOBS creams, but not the almond. They've all produced excellent lathers. I used the Proraso extra sensitive this morning, and feel it is equal to the regular Proraso, which also produces an excellent lather. I'm apparently mildly sensitive to the eucalyptus in the regular, and have no problems with the extra sensitive. Haven't tried the Dovo.

TOBS - excellent at a good price.

Proraso - decent, good value if you can get it from Italy. At £7 a tube its not great value in the UK imo when you can get a tub of TOBS or TSB for the same price.

Dovo, never heard of it. Who makes it?

Dovo as in the people who make straights and Merkur DEs. It cost £10 for a tub. The proraso was £5 for a big tub; I got it from the U.K. A company called the shaving shack. The tobs was £7; if I bought that here in Germany it would have cost me €15.:001_huh:

I enjoy the Proraso. You made a good buy with all three.

What's up with the Baton Rouge location? Did you move or just don't want people to know you live out in Livingston Parish?

I find the TOBS to have a sweet marzipan scent with a hint of maraschino cherry, as with all 3T's cream it's a great performer.
