I have tried the old Musgo Real cream and found that it performed well for me. I was looking forward to trying their new shave soap, not to be confused with their glycerin prep soap. Unfortunately the few reviews of the soap I was able to find were not very complimentary. I would greatly appreciate your experience if you have tried it.

From what I've read here, the soap is not very good.
I tried a sample from Garry's when it came out and it just didn't seem to want to lather. It does smell great, but I wouldn't recommend it for shaving. It's really surprising considering the heritage and reputation of Claus Porto and Musgo Real.

In a few words: is a completely crap. Avoid it at any cost, at least until this brand decide to reformulate it

i have a few friends in Portugal and they confirmed that the soap version is not very well made and performs poorly!
