What's new

One of my Straight Razor haunts

Found my first John Barber in the wild here for $20 out the door.

If I walked in a local shop like that I'd start shaking with excitement. No such shop around here (I don't think). If anyone knows of such shops in Seattle I'd love to hear about it!

I went to an antique shop two weeks ago and she had 50-100 straights, a Gillette slim that looked new, Dubl Duck hone, barber's disinfectant jar, strops and more. I actually had to leave some behind there were so many, but I did lay hands on all of them and picked the best of the lot.

a block or two north of the north end of Pike Place, a block east, uphill, has a few antique stores. one of them had a few in there years ago. I think I saw some in there, about '09. looked to be in good shape, French, but at the time, I didn't know anything about or care about straights. wish now I'd snatched em up.
