One of my favorite razors

This is one of my best shaving razors.
I am not sure what brand this razor is, I think it may be a German make.
The razor is a two piece and very well made.

Looks like you need a torque wrench to bend the blade that far. Nice, uhm... angles. Really very nice looking.

Interesting looking device. I've never seen anything like it before, nor anything even close.

The curve that it puts into the blade, combined with the open-comb design, must result in an awfully aggressive shave. Or am I reading it wrong?

Does the handle swivel on the bottom piece? It must, I don't see any other way a 2-piece razor would be able to tighten down.

Thanks for all the Pm's, the razor is not for sale. I posted this hoping someone would identify the razor. I did notice after looking at the pictures that it has 6 engraved on the cap and on the head.

I had the same question. I imagine it's a swivel, like a 2 piece Barbasol razor I had awhile back that, from a distance, looked like any comparable 3 piece.

It does screw down just like a two piece Barbasol

Cool razor, Mike! Knowing your fondness for aggressive shavers and considering the profile of this beauty, is it safe to assume it's also a serious razor, along the lines of a NEW Deluxe or even more so, like a Barbasol (from what I've heard)? What a razor!

looks aggresive, but at the same time I think that's how the blade should be angled for a really good shave

Definitely a Weishi . It does smack of really good German design. Looks like an awesome shaver

I scrolled through waits compendium looking for that. The only ones that come close in design is one by Myatt, and another called Schrägschnitt. But neither is really like it, and nothing close handle-wise.
I know I've seen one in the last few months either on ebay or here. I recognize that handle.

edit: or it may have been on that german forum board when I was looking at all their slants. Don't remember the link.
