i am interested to know if anyone on here has ever seen one of these ? i think it’s nickel and it holds a brush but it also has a hidden heated spirit oil lamp in its base (under the milk glass bowl) that’s covered up . It’s either WW1 officer use material judging by its sophistication or it’s some kind of a campaign piece. I’ve searched everywhere online and just cannot find another with all its components in one. I found a period silver shaving brush (in a silver canister ) plus a huge very rare Charnley Forest sharpening stone that’s been properly ground as well by a stone enthusiast on his granite piece . my internet searches can’t turn up another with the spirit heating element involved. It all makes for quite a unique set in my opinion.
