Ok, I have been using my "Strand" from Vulfix for about a year now, and the Vulfix turnback for travel for about 6 months.
I tend to use creams, AOS, Taylor, Proraso, Tabac, Speck, and a few others.
I have made my own scuttles (I am potter for fun) and really enjoy using them.
So here is my question - I should have purchased the B&B brush being offered but was not quite ready to buy. Looking back that was probably a mistake. Oh well next time.....
Anyway - I think it might be reasonable to buy a brush a year. So I am up for doing so now. I would prefer to make this purchase $100 (+ or - $20 or $30) but not in the $200 range if at all possible. Perhaps next year I would feel more comfortable in spending more.
What I am finding now is that with the travel brush it feels small and the "Strand" is nice but I am wondering if a larger brush or Silver Tip might be what I am looking for?
I have no complaint with the Vulfix I am using, I have never held a Rooney or Simpson so I am rather confused at this moment. I have looked at the stickeys and in a way this has given me more information to be confused about. It would be nice to walk into a brick and mortar and compare but that's not an option around here.
